The assignment will be carried out virtually (online and remote), and it will have a duration of 3 weeks. The assignment must be finalised in December 2023.

We are looking for 4 Online Volunteers who have experience in research with excellent writing and analytical skills. The task will include the following responsibilities: - Documentary review, including reports, institutional mandates and frameworks - Identify and gather complementary sources - Conduct research - Proof read documents - Develop short report on findings

The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the Gender Team at UNDP's Regional Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean and learn about the ways in which research on gender equality and public institutions can support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Candidates should have strong research and analytical skills. Background knowledge and working experience in Gender Equality in the Latin America and Caribbean region, especially related to public institutions, is desirable. A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
