For every child, people analytics to support informed decisions

•Map all the UNICEF People analytics products that are produced and published (e.g. HR inSight Dashboards, People analytics Microsoft PowerBI Dashboards, Quarterly reports on HR Workforce, Recruitment, and Staff Movements, Deep-dives and ad-hoc analytics reports, updated workforce and recruitment datasets, capacity building tools and tutorials for UNICEF personnel and HR community, etc.)

•Design and conduct a quantitative and qualitative study on the audience’s perception, usage, and needs of UNICEF’s people analytics products. The target products include dashboards, quarterly reports, datasets, self-reporting tools, and other products.

•Drive impact for multiple stakeholders within UNICEF: the study involves engaging and collecting feedback from UNICEF personnel about analytics products that are currently used, developed/customized, and/or needed by all personnel, OneHR Community, HR data focal points, and the Senior Management within the OneHR leadership.

•Based on the results of the study, produce actionable recommendations to optimize existing products and exploring the possibility of creating new ones (e.g. new UNICEF Managers Dashboard based on Supply Division product). •Leverage the results of the study to propose the key focus areas of a new UNICEF People Analytics global strategy to meet the demand

/at the national and/or international level in conducting quantitative and qualitative surveys/ studies/ research; •Experience in planning and project management is an asset, as is experience working in the UN or other international development organization; •Excellent coordination and communication skills; •Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills; •Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing; •Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners; •Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel; •Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI is mandatory; •Having design and story-telling skills is an asset; •Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines; •Have affinity with or interest in UNICEF’s mandate, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.

Istanbul has a population of over 15 million residents, comprising 19% of the population of Turkey and is considered the most populous European city as well as the world's 15thlargest city, thus also containing a large international community. Turkish is the only official language in Turkey and English is widely spoken particularly in touristic areas. Istanbul has a combination of a borderline Mediterranean climate, a humid subtropical climate and oceanic climate. It experiences cool winters with frequent precipitation and warm to hot, moderately dry summers. Spring and fall are usually mild. Transportation: Public transportation is heavily used in Istanbul. Metro, tram, bus lines are up and running throughout the day. Ferry lines are connecting Europe and Asia. There are two airports available in Istanbul and well connected to various destinations. Medical Services: A wider range of Medical services available are of high quality and in English. Security: The security level for Istanbul is 2 (Low) duty stations.
