The Reporting and Administrative Coordinator (RAC) has delegated responsibility from the Head of Strategy, Information and Support Unit, for providing support to the Field Operations Department including coordination of reporting to the Board of Directors. The RAC provides administrative support to FO including the Director of Field Operations, the Global Programme Section, the Emergency Response Section, the Health, Safety and Security Section and the SIS unit.

The Reporting and Administrative Coordinator will support coordinating internal reporting on strategy and risk for the Department, and other relevant operational information to NRCs Head Office, be it from Triannual reporting or other avenues. The RAC will support the department in its efforts to improve on strategy and risk management incl. follow up on specific cases as directed by the FO Director. The Reporting and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for that FO delivers on administrative timelines related to the Board of Directors and enabling T-processes with CO, RO and Head Office Departments.

Generic responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and support all country offices and regional offices to ensure timely submission of internal reports, including oversight and coordination of the Triannual process.
  2. Maintain and contribute to the development (upon need) of guidance for system management, tools and templates for users for the Triannual reporting system and help produce relevant overviews and analysis to facilitate information sharing and decision making.
  3. Facilitate regular meetings such as the FO Management Team, FO Department and FO Section meetings (incl. Global Programme Management Team) including note taking and assist with other meetings upon request.
  4. Responsible for administrative support to the Field Operations Department (e.g. drafting of documents, obtain Power of Attorney and Country Office registration documents, logging of information, update of action item lists, updating relevant contact lists etc).
  5. Provide support to Crisis Management Teams of a temporary nature upon request.
  6. Act as focal point in cross-departmental working groups (with delegated authority) upon request.
