Coordinate overall planning and implementation of seed systems interventions in the Jijiga region.
You have:
- Master of Science in Agronomy, crop production, Seed science and technology, agricultural economics, or related field of study.
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience mainly related to research, with at least 3 years in humanitarian and development work.
- Good knowledge about the Ethiopian farming systems and Seed Systems, particularly seed insecurity response in fragile areas.
- Experience in NGO, project management, and humanitarian organizations in shock-sensitive areas.
- Fluency in English and Somali language is mandatory.
- Very good experience in stakeholder mapping, analysis, engagement, and management.
- Good concept or experience of the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus.
- Ability to shoulder multiple assignments under stress conditions.
