The Refugee Progress Assessment Assistant’s primary responsibilities are ensuring timely completion of RCCM Assessments for all clients 16 and older. The objectives of the position include communicating with caseworkers, clients, and state government officials to schedule and complete RCCM Assessments and to find ways to support/improve the resettlement process for each client. This position includes assisting in data entry within the RCCM system and assisting caseworkers in extended case management service provision.

Major Responsibilities (****including but not limited to)

- Schedule assessments with clients and Licensed Clinical Therapists (LCT) from the Department of Workforce Services (DWS). - Complete RCCM assessments at 30 days, 6-months, and 12-months for all clients 16 and older. - Collaborate with caseworkers before each assessment in preparation and after to pass along important information to support clients in their resettlement process. - Complete necessary documentation of each assessment in the RCCM system. - Create actions plans in the RCCM system based on recommendations from the LCTs. - Upload and complete all necessary documentation for each client in the RCCM system. - Assist with case file completion and organization. - Assist in providing service provision based on LCT recommendations. - Sign up for office support once a month to assist with the setup of homes for new arrivals, among other projects. - Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

Associate degree or equivalent preferred; or equivalent work experience

Work Experience

2 + years related work experience, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting.

Demonstrated Skills/Competencies

- Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ETO, UWORKS and other databases a plus. - Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. - Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. - Work requires both independence and working closely with team members. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, effectively manage time, and meet deadlines; strong attention to detail. - Fluency in English required.

Working Environment

- A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. - May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
