Overview

Deliver progress and final reports on procurement activities

You have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in management, procurement or related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in finance and administration with a United Nations entity is required.
  • Experience with United Nations operations software is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required.

Work Location The consultant will work remotely in the UAE, with the possibility of reporting to the office on occasion.

Expected duration 2 months

Duties and Responsibilities The consultant is expected to establish procurement processes, document step by step guides and deliver high quality outputs, according to agreed timeframes

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in management, procurement or related field is required. Experience: - A minimum of two years' experience in finance and administration with a United Nations entity is required. - Experience with United Nations operations software is desirable. Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position(s) advertised, fluency in English is required; Fluency in Arabic is required.

NOTE: 'Fluency' equals a rating of 'fluent' in all four areas (speak, read, write and understand) and 'Knowledge of' equals a rating of 'confident' in two of the four areas.
