Deliver progress and final reports on procurement activities
You have:
- A Bachelor's degree in management, procurement or related field is required.
- A minimum of two years' experience in finance and administration with a United Nations entity is required.
- Experience with United Nations operations software is desirable.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Arabic is required.
Result of Service- Progress report on the procurement activities for the UN RC office in UAE - Final report on the procurement activities for the UN RC office in UAE
Work Location The consultant will work remotely in the UAE, with the possibility of reporting to the office on occasion.
Expected duration 2 months
Duties and Responsibilities The consultant is expected to establish procurement processes, document step by step guides and deliver high quality outputs, according to agreed timeframes
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in management, procurement or related field is required. Experience: - A minimum of two years' experience in finance and administration with a United Nations entity is required. - Experience with United Nations operations software is desirable. Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position(s) advertised, fluency in English is required; Fluency in Arabic is required.
NOTE: 'Fluency' equals a rating of 'fluent' in all four areas (speak, read, write and understand) and 'Knowledge of' equals a rating of 'confident' in two of the four areas.
