Details

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and completion the UNDP project at National Centre for Vegetation Cover in Saudi Arabia. This includes working closely with different departments and international partners to achieve objectives related to combating desertification, promoting vegetation cover, and sustainable national park management.

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Digital Stream Project Manager or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UN volunteer Project Coordinator will:

Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
Implementation and Coordination: Coordinate the execution of project tasks to ensure alignment with project objectives and guidelines. Work closely with other departments for cross-functional projects.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with international organizations, local government bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track project performance using key metrics and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of project deliverables through rigorous review and testing procedures.
