Contract
This is a UNV National Specialist contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Specialist contracts.
The Legal & International Affairs Associate will support the National Center for Vegetation Cover (NCVC)'s efforts in establishing and sustaining international partnerships, focusing on combating desertification, promoting vegetation cover, and the sustainable management of national parks. This role is pivotal in enhancing NCVC's global presence and facilitating international knowledge and resource exchange.
Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Digital Stream Project Manager or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UN volunteer Legal & International Affairs Associate will:
- Research & Analysis: Assist in researching potential international partners, including NGOs, academic institutions, and governmental bodies that align with NCVC's objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support the team in outreach activities, helping to establish partnerships and build relationships with international organizations.
- Follow-Up and Communication: Assist in maintaining communication with international partners, ensuring collaborations are on track, and providing updates to the internal team as needed.
- Documentation: Help in preparing briefs, summaries, and presentations, ensuring proper documentation of international collaborations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the organization of international events, supporting logistics, and helping with post-event tasks.
