Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

  • Cash based assistance, design, planning and implementation
  • Operational oversight, monitoring and reporting of cash transfers
  • Knowledge Management and capacity building
  • Partnership, Coordination and Collaboration for cash transfer programmes

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:

  • Education: A university degree (Bachelor’s) in one of the following fields: social sciences, public administration, social welfare, information technology/computer science or other related disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional work experience in designing, implementing and managing cash transfer programmes.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered as an asset.
  • High motivation, and dedication to deliver results within strict timeframes.
  • Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation of cash transfers and/or social protection is an asset.
  • Basic expertise in data analysis and information management.
