WHO is providing policy advice and technical support to advance health and wellbeing in line with national, regional and global health agendas, including GPW13, regional and country's health agenda in the context of SDGs and the UN Reforms.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Regularly collect and compile secondary data to monitor the performance on indicators defined in WHO programmes and projects related to SDG monitoring, regionalkey performance indicators and other national health goals. Maintain databases with relevant indicators to facilitate data usage for technical and administrative needs of the WHO Tunisia officeRespond to requests for data from the government, UN partners as well as other levels of WHO, in collaboration with technical and administrative teams of the WHO Tunisia office. Closely monitor the country office's budgetary and financial situation, implementation of projects and grants, and contribute to the development of donors' reports.Support planning activities of WHO Tunisia office and ensure proper budget allocation and funds distribution to the appropriate outcomes and outputs (programme budget development, strategic and operational planning)Plan evaluation activities of WHO programmes and projects, in collaboration with technical and administrative teams of the WHO Tunisia office including the periodic technical reporting (mid-term review and programme budget performance assessmentas well as reprogramming) and assist in its facilitation through the prescribed tools, as well as ensuring quality and timeline submission, and full compliance of the BC based on global and regional guidance.Support capacity building on results-based budgeting and reporting among the country staff, and on monitoring and evaluation at the national level, particularly with regards to GPW13 and SDG monitoring.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: University degree in economics, social sciences, public or business administration Desirable: Advanced university degree (Masters level orabove) in economics, social sciences, public or business administration
Experience
Essential: Minimumof two years of relevant experience in the area of monitoring and evaluation/Planning and programme management. Desirable: Experience in UN organizations/agencies, international institutions or NGOs.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at TND 56,027 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
