Contract

Under the overall supervision of the Head of RCO, the human rights and inclusion Officer will be responsible for the following activities: • Review existing policies, and planning instruments to provide recommendations on inclu-sion, LNOB and gender equality and inclusion to strengthen urban environment and “ease of living” for disabled, women, children, elderly, and urban poor. • Develop and manage knowledge resources and relevant documentation on how marginal-ization in policies, planning, resource allocation, climate change and institutional focus af-fects urban poor and other vulnerable groups. • Provide technical expertise to develop evidence-based knowledge products, general frameworks to promote the principles of “Leave No One Behind”. • Lead and facilitate “People’s Process” and participatory mechanisms • Work on the PSEA subject with the group • Support the UNCT internal coordination structures – Programme Management Team (PMT), Monitoring and Evaluation Team (M&E), Operations Management Team (OMT), Communication Group, and Thematic Group on Gender Equality, Human right and Inclu-sion, and UNCT to establish and/or maintain engagements with relevant stakeholders to promote practices for mainstreaming inclusion. • Support the UNSDCF/Cooperation Framework Joint Work Programmes, so as to update UNINFO including Information Management System (IMS) survey. • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be required by the RCO in re-sponding to the requests of the respective member states.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of RCO and the Senior Human Rights Officer, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: • Assist the RCO to ensure the integration of gender and disability perspectives and atten-tion to specific women rights, disability issues within all UNCT activities. • Provides support for organising meetings and monitoring the activities of the gender, hu-man rights, ESPP and disability thematic group. • Provides support for coordinating the updating of the UNINFO platform, including the annual survey of the Information Management System (IMS) module • Supports UNCT in developing the Gender Score Card • Supports the collection and analysis of data for UNCT's annual report. • Translated with DeepL.com (free version) • Perform other duties as required and assigned by the Chief of RCO
