Job Overview:

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is one of the leading providers of high-quality programming for refugees resettling to the United States. Switchboard is a one-stop resource hub for refugee service providers in the United States, supported by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and implemented by the IRC in partnership with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS). Switchboard is seeking a Program Manager, Compliance. This staff person will be responsible for supporting compliance needs for the project, including grants management, finance, contracting, and documentation. This staff person may be located anywhere in the United States.

Major Responsibilities:

· Support PO, Partnerships with all necessary tasks related to sub-awardee compliance, including due diligence, documentation, payment processing, monitoring, and close-out.

· Coordinate with IRC’s Finance team by participating in budget versus actual (BvA) meetings; responding to budget-related inquiries; etc.

· Support Administrative Manager with accurate tracking of project expenses in IRC’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (Microsoft Dynamics/Integra); serve as one of Switchboard’s dedicated purchase requisition (PR) creators

· Coordinate development and submission of grants management documents including continuation proposals, semi-annual project reports (developed by Switchboard’s monitoring and evaluation team); etc.

· Support onboarding of new staff related to grants management by providing orientation to Switchboard’s scope of work, project model, eligibility requirements, etc.

· Maintain related project files on Box, including proposal/continuation documentation, partner documentation, funder communications, etc.

· Support additional compliance-related needs including: accessibility regulations (Section 508 standards); appropriate accommodations needed by Switchboard’s users; maintenance of accreditation for continuing education units; etc.

· Provide input into Switchboard reports, including monthly activity updates and semi-annual Performance Progress Reports, as well as external evaluations

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in non-profit management or similar (or equivalent experience)

· Minimum two years of experience in compliance, project management, financial management, or related field

· Experience supporting compliance, grants management, or finance for federally funded grants

· Extremely strong attention to detail

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Experience contributing to project M&E (data collection, management, and reporting)

· Ability to effectively manage complex projects with strict timelines

· Preferred: Familiarity with refugee resettlement and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)-funded programs

This position is contingent on receipt of grant funding.

Working Environment: Standard office and/or remote working environment. This role may require working remotely full or part time and part time remote employees may be required to share workspace.
