- Excellent skills in conducting market analysis and sourcing strategies.
- Good mathematical skills.
- German language skills at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CERF).

About Us
In 2016, IRC Germany was founded and is involved in the areas of education, economic wellbeing, and safety, legal protection, and empowerment throughout Germany.
The Procurement Officer (Contracting) is a full-time position providing support for the IRC Deutschland office in Berlin, program teams in various locations across Germany and support for international programs if needed. Reports to the Procurement Manager.
The position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring contracts, preparing contracts and supplier performance to ensure that terms & conditions, standard operating procedures are adhered to - Support with increasing Master Service Agreements for Germany - Represent SC in the bid committee meetings, prepare and evaluation of bids - Maintain supplier performance score cards - Responsible for managing supplier relationships and performance - Ensure donor and IRC compliance for all procurements - Implement internal and external audit corrective action plans (CAPs) - Gather data for monthly and quarterly procurement reports
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship in a relevant field (such as logistics, industry merchant, etc.) and/or university degree in a relevant area (logistics, global supply chain/operations management, etc.) - 1 years of work experience in contracting in procurement - Knowledge of generic procurement procedures and practices in the field of NGO and/or public service - Good collaborator and influencer with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who can work seamlessly across cultures, organizational units and suppliers. - Excellent skills in conducting market analysis and sourcing strategies. - Good mathematical skills. - You have German and English language skills at [B2] according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CERF)
