You have:

  • 2-3 years of logistics, supply chain support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree is preferable in operations, logistics, supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari.
  • Willing to travel and conduct field visits regularly.

Job Description

Administration and Filing

- Ensure that all orders are tracked from point of planning and request through to final receipt. Ensure compliance to IRC and Donor guidelines around procurement, asset, Warehouse, and fleet management. - Provide daily effective support to Operations Manager - Prepare the relevant documents for the cases of procurement of goods, services and works - Assistance in evaluation of bids and proposals and make sure the bids evaluation report, technical evaluation, minutes of negotiations and negotiated contract in selection of vendors contain all the facts and information required to justify the recommendations made in the report. - Assist in the joint verification of procured goods and equipment and to ascertain the items conformity to - Technical Specifications and Quantities. - Check that all assets old and new are properly recorded and tagged. Maintaining assets database. - Perform the physical asset check for the duty station - Overseeing deliveries to and dispatches from warehouses and effecting the necessary documentation - Maintaining good communications with Partner logistics and Admin. teams for necessary support and trainings as needed. - Supporting Ops. Manager in conducting Partner trainings and conducting field visits as necessary per plan.

Fleet management

- Assist with Fleet Management tasks on demand - Maintain daily vehicle movement schedule. Keep respective records on vehicles assignment etc. - Compiling regular fuel consumption reports and monthly vehicle utilization analysis. - Any other job relevant duty assigned by direct supervisor

Qualifications

- 2-3 years of logistics, supply chain support experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree is preferable in operations, logistics, supply chain management. - Excellent communication and coordination skills - Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari - Wiling to travel and conduct field visits regularly.
