The “startup lifecycle” of an entrepreneur is a journey characterized by a unique set of obstacles to deal with and overcome. Chiefly among these obstacles are capital and marketing. Also, they are not taken seriously because of poor branding and identity.
In line with the mission , AAE connects young entrepreneurs around Africa and links them to resources and opportunities to help them make their startup a success. As part of our support program, we are boosting these entrepreneurs by giving them an opportunity to network and prospect for capital funding.
Our beneficiaries are individuals with great amounts of energy, ingenuity, and ambition however they don’t have access to the resources needed to live up to all that ambition. The Africa Association of Entrepreneurs offers close support to the most promising startup entrepreneurs providing direct linkage to mentors, investors and market opportunities thus helping them to grow faster, better, and stronger.
We are looking for an experienced web developer to help assess the current website for the purpose of recommending and designing new features/ functionalities for our website. This new features would be aimed at supporting member startup projects and entrepreneurs.
The volunteer would also be tasked with occasionally posting WordPress articles
The ideal volunteer should be familiar with the WordPress platform, PHP Programming, how to edit plugins
