Ensure essential health services and support community coordination.
You have:
- Professional qualification as medical doctor, with experience in health promotion and conducting trainings.
- 2 to 3 years' experience in community mobilization and coordination to increase community participation.
- Skills: Self-motivated, possessing persuasion skills, ability to maintain relationship and able to work on own initiative.
- Enthusiasm to travel to locations within a region and to other regions for training sessions.
- Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English.
- Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet) an advantage.

Job Description
Project implementation and Service Delivery
- Ensure essential health services (Nutrition, NCD, CDs, RMNCH, EPI, IMNCI, mental health, IPC, RCCE) in accordance with BPHS guidelines - Conduct regular visits to supported service delivery points - Ensure cross sectoral integration of nutrition, PHC, mental health and WASH
Capacity Building
- Provide technical backstopping and on-job supportive supervision to healthcare service providers. - engage service providers to ensure IPC standards and referral protocols
Coordination and representation
- Regularly participating Provincial and District level coordination meetings - liaise with local health communities and health shuras - participate in cluster meetings as and when required - Support coordination with other sector particularly Protection to ensure cross sectoral coordination and integration
Monitoring and reporting
- Support data collection and working closely with HIS team in data reviews and ensure data driven decision making - Monitor pharma stock levels and working closely with Pharma Coordinator to ensure time supplies with zero stock-outs
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as medical doctor, with experience in health promotion and conducting trainings. - 2 to 3 years’ Experience in community mobilization and coordination to increase community participation. - Skills: Self-motivated, possessing persuasion skills, ability to maintain relationship and able to work on own initiative. - Enthusiasm to travel to locations within a region – and to other regions for training sessions. - Technical Competency: - Communication and reporting skills. - Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English - Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet) an advantage. - Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background.
