We are currently seeking to fill a People Consultant (Talent Acquisition) position in the INKA division, based in Munich, Germany.

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the United Nations frontline agency fighting hunger. WFP reaches more than 100 million people every day - delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with smallholder farmers, communities, and governments to improve nutrition and build resilience.
The WFP Innovation Accelerator was named by Fast Company as Most Innovative Non-Profit Organization 2021 for its work in identifying, nurturing, and scaling disruptive start-ups and innovations to end global hunger. Based in Munich, Germany, the Innovation Accelerator provides WFP employees and start-ups with funding, hands-on support, and access to WFP’s global operations. Through the Accelerator, WFP is leveraging unprecedented advances in digital innovation - such as mobile technology, artificial intelligence, and blockchain - and new business models to transform the way it serves vulnerable communities across the world. In 2021, Accelerator supported innovations that positively impacted the lives of 8.6 million people globally. Most recently, the Accelerator runs programmes for external partners such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and others.

Duties and responsibilities
The incumbent, reporting to the People Team Lead, is expected to:
Take care of all Talent Acquisition related matters:
- Handle full lifecycle recruiting: Drive recruitment of innovation-specific and business-related profiles. Conduct briefing meetings with the hiring team and advise on the creation of the search profile. Accompany the entire recruiting process with the goal of convincing WFP's greatest talents;
- Put candidate experience first: Manage the recruiting process from the selection of recruiting channels to the signing of the contract - at the interface between the hiring team and the candidate. Conduct qualitative interviews with the candidates;
- Document the recruiting successes and use them as a basis for deciding on suitable and economical recruiting processes and channels. Create pipeline reports, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and make informed recommendations and decisions;
- Be the external face for recruiting in your target group and build up a resilient network;
- Establish yourself as a contact person for your hiring teams and actively advise internal clients on all recruiting issues;
- Manage your hiring teams independently and act as a consultant and coach on all recruiting topics. Accompany the implementation of innovative recruiting concepts.
Support the Innovation Accelerator build-up, operations & management:
Collate information and provide analysis & content preparation (PowerPoint presentations, reports, briefs, etc.) for corporate priority topics and executive management meetings;
- Liaise with colleagues in other Headquarters’ divisions (mainly HR) or external stakeholders as needed, with guidance from your manager;
- Manage your own recruiting projects and support other People Team projects as required;
- Support the Head of the Innovation Accelerator and the Director Innovation & Knowledge Management Division with any other activities as required.
Required qualifications and experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree a plus.
Experience:
At least 3 years of post-graduate professional experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in an international environment.

- Proven track record of full lifecycle recruiting experience.
- Self-confident, open, and pragmatic personality.
- Negotiating skills, enthusiasm, and high service orientation.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
- Experience working in a large organization (public or private sector).
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings.
- Self-driven and very strong organizational and planning skills.
- Able to interact with a broad range of stakeholders and external audiences with maturity and tact.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, with the ability to write best practice documents, to develop project plans and to write and deliver presentations.
- Collaborative spirit, able to partner with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures and to act with credibility and diplomacy.
- Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Sets a high-level of ambition for the project and own work to achieve impact for the hungry people we serve.
- Fully committed and motivated to achieve the aims of the UN World Food Programme.
Language requirements
- Fluency in oral and written English is a must. Intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages) or German (location of office) is a plus.
