Overview

Support in processing payroll accurately and timely

You have:

• Completed university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field from an accredited academic institution
• 3 years of relevant work experience; or high-school diploma with 5 years of relevant work experience
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
• Experience in direct payroll functions and corporate payroll operations
• Knowledge of banking and accounting systems and generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience with SAP HR and payroll system and applications is an advantage
• Thorough working knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
• High level of computer literacy

Contract

This is a G-5 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 5 years of experience, depending on education.

Salary

The salary for this job should be more than 1,151 USD.

Position Title: Payroll Administrator

Reference Code: VN 041/2023

Job classification: G-5

Duty station: Manila (Global) Administrative Centre (MAC)

Type of Appointment: One-Year Fixed-Term with possibility of extension

Salary: Php 757,551.00 per annum net of taxes

Context

Under the overall supervision of the Payroll Manager and the direct supervision of the National Payroll Officer, the successful candidate will support the unit in the timely and accurate processing of the payroll for locally recruited staff worldwide.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

Completed university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field from an accredited academic institution with 3 years of relevant work experience; or High-school diploma with 5 years of relevant work experience. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) an advantage.

Experience:

Experience in direct payroll functions, preferably in a corporate payroll operation with knowledge of banking and accounting systems, generally accepted accounting principles, business risk controls; Experience with SAP HR and payroll system and applications, an advantage. Thorough working knowledge of payroll systems and procedures, salary calculations and accounting made through payroll systems; IT-ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Functional Knowledge an advantage; High level of computer literacy.
