You have:
- BA degree or equivalent in International Development or Affairs, Finance, Business, or related field; Advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience with INGOs or NGOs in Italy in the grants/fundraising departments.
- Confirmed experience in managing partnerships and confirmed knowledge of the Italian refugee response.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- A good command of verbal and written English. Italian is a must.
- Shown ability to work well in and promote collaboration, thrive in a multi-cultural environment, be flexible and handle pressure with professional grit.
Job Description
The Partnership Consultant will support the growing IRC Italy response with mapping and analyzing the existing stakeholder landscape for IRC Italy positioning toward receiving funding and implementing actions in the country in collaboration with other actors.
The Partnership Consultant will report to the Grants Officer and will liaise and receive additional technical support from the IRC Europe Regional team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understand the roles of public sector actors involved in refugee response and providing funding to non-profit entities.
• Conduct a landscape analysis of peer organizations as well as other actors who are implementing similar/complementary programming in Italy and accessing similar funding from all types of donors.
• Produce a mapping of the institutional and civil society stakeholders that support refugees and migrants in IRC Italy’s target locations, and that do complementary work.
• Produce a road map for IRC Italy to position itself and build partnerships with the identified relevant stakeholders, with the key next steps to be followed over the next 12 months.
