Program Overview

P4G contributes to green and inclusive growth in low- and middle-income countries by helping early-stage businesses to become investment ready and supporting the enabling market systems for in-country climate transitions in food, water, and energy systems.

P4G has three main areas of activity: (1) origination and acceleration of early-stage climate businesses that can meet global climate finance investment criteria, (2) work with government and the private sector on the associated enabling market systems, and (3) knowledge mobilization.

P4G National Platforms and networks drive forward in-country Sustainable Development Goals and Nationally Determined Contributions implementation ambitions in the following countries: Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Indonesia, and Vietnam. It is hosted by World Resources Institute and funded by Denmark, the Netherlands, and the Republic of Korea.
