The task involves using a successful concept note to help plan and write a full proposal for a construction of a training resource centre for Kamiali Wild Life Management Area in Huon District. Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. In collaboration with the Focal contact person for MDF, the successfully selected Online Volunteer will use the concept idea presented to UNDP Small Grants Program to develop a proposal within a month time period. All details of past proposal idea, the concept note and the project idea will be made available to the volunteer recruited. The proposal was requested by UNDP as part of their requirement before the full funding is released.

The project will support the successful grant proposal awarded to Kamiali Foundation Inc which is a partner to MDF in this project which is to build a resource centre at Kamiali Wild Life Management area, a 47,000 hectares of land which houses unique flora and fauna and some undiscovered species of plans, fish and insects. The area is famous for its habitat as a nesting site for the endangered leatherback species which is now facing extinction. The resource centre was proposed to replace the original building that was destroyed by floods and landslide in 2016.

A volunteer who has vast knowledge in wild life management, conservation and preservation will be considered for this role. He or she must have knowledge in the area and must be involve din conservation and scientific research on unique flora and fauna.
