Coordinate housing logistics for relocating clients in a supportive environment
You have:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
- Ability to regularly lift ~50 lbs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistics involving multiple stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and secure safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for newly arriving clients in compliance with established program requirements; - Establish partnerships with property owners and managers, building strong working relationships with the goal of increasing access to housing for clients and to coordinate client home repair requests as needed. Collaborate effectively with coworkers and partner organizations to support a positive resettlement experience; - Establish local procurement relationships and inventory management protocols in accordance with IRC and donor requirements through purchasing and in-kind donations; - Manage a team of support staff, volunteers, and interns in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards; - Coordinate logistics of housing set-ups including ordering furniture and supplies and arranging delivery, arranging utility hook-ups, facilitating lease signings and renewals, arranging payments, and conducting home safety inspections; - Coordinate logistical activities related to case management services including transportation and interpretation support provided by interpreters and other team members; - May coordinate the delivery of orientations to clients. - Satisfy recordkeeping requirements; - Make recommendations for continuous improvement in related areas; - Use personal, insured vehicle and/or public transportation (where available) to travel and transport clients and materials as needed throughout the service delivery area; - Other duties as assigned.

Working Environment:
- Standard office environment, including the current hybrid mode of remote work within San Diego County and required in-office days, and some ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. Office working environment is subject to change based on organization/business need. - May require occasional weekend and/or evening work. - Offices hours are scheduled as Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. - Access to a reliable vehicle to travel throughout the service delivery area with a valid driver's license and current insurance required.
Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
