Overview
Support the implementation and follow-up of Mercy Corps' Security Management System.
You have:
- Professional degree in Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, Military Sciences, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Psychology or related fields.
- Minimum three (3) years of specific experience in humanitarian security management, corporate security, private security, public security or risk management.
- Experience in context analysis, risk assessment, developing mitigation plans and incident management.
- Desirable experience in coordination with humanitarian organizations, public entities, community organizations or implementing partners.
- Knowledge of differential approaches, protection, safeguard, and gender applied to security management.
- Excellent report writing, analysis, procedures, institutional communications and accountability skills.
- Ability to organize, analyze and systematize security and context information.
- Knowledge of geographic information systems and spatial analysis, including ArcGIS, Google Earth, and similar tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and its various applications.
- Basic knowledge in the use and management of communication and satellite tracking equipment, including satellite phones, SPOT devices, Starlink, and communication radios.
