Overview
Lead program activities and ensure community engagement for disaster preparedness.
You have:
- Professional in environmental engineering, social development, psychology, social work, or other areas related to disaster management and community work.
- 3 years of experience in environmental work, disaster management, social work, facilitating workshops, or similar activities related to development projects and humanitarian assistance.
- Proven experience in managing partnerships, subcontracts, and working with institutional donors.
- Excellent project management skills: planning, budgeting, financial forecasting, expenditure tracking, risk mitigation.
- Excellent intercultural communication and collaboration skills.
- Personal qualities: teamwork, coordination, adaptability, flexibility, and ability to contribute to multiple activities in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of the context of the islands of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina.
- Proficiency in Office software, especially Excel and Word.
- Desirable internationally recognized qualification in project or program management, or commitment to obtain such certification in the early months of work.
- Preferred knowledge of Sphere standards and other training in humanitarian response.
- Intermediate/advanced English desirable.
