Expected duration The initial Contract is from 01 February 2022 – 31 January 2023 (12 months) with a possibility of extension. A monthly payment of INR 125,000 will be paid at the end of each month.

Duties and Responsibilities The UN’s Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) defines the strategic direction for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to the UN Secretariat. It oversees ICT programs, budgets, and decision-making to align with the Secretariat’s overall ICT strategy. The Strategic Solutions unit in India is supporting various ICT development initiatives for its HQ at Vienna, Austria. In this unit, we are looking for a passionate Moodle Develoer and he/she will be responsible for the Design, Develop and Debugging of Moodle.

Qualifications/special skills Skills: o Core PHP, Moodle,CSS, MySQL, HTML, JQuery, Javascript, Ajax Strong understanding of LTI tools and multiple format content management. Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree/diploma in any stream. Experience: A minimum of seven years of experience in similar role. Experience in web development including PHP, HTML, javascript/jQuery and CSS Experience in integrated plug-ins and writing new plug-ins to extend the Moodle system core features Experience in data management and query building using MySQL and other RDBMS Experience in XML data structures and Web services knowledge in Customizing Moodle functionalities and Developing Custom Themes for Moodle. Language: Good command of English is required
