    1. Provide regular and monthly progress reports to M&E Coordinator and M&E Manager
    2. Coordinate the M&E activities according to strategy, proposals, budgets and plans
    3. Prepare periodic progress reports, reporting tracker, indicators tracking table and other documents as required
    4. Support in developing data collection methodology and tools as needed
    5. Assist in standardizing M&E across areas and projects
    6. Investigate and facilitate introduction of new technology, methods and approaches in order to improve the quality of the activities
    7. Coordinate with relevant partners

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.

  • Support the program teams to develop tools necessary to complete all data collection related to outputs, outcomes, and results including baseline surveys and participatory assessments (with external consultant assistance when necessary), Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) surveys, qualitative interview guides, focus group discussion guides, and other types of assessments as needed;
  • Develop and maintain databases where data and indicators are tracked and compared over the life of the project; ensure that these databases are accurate and that data is cleaned and coded correctly;
  • Ensure that output and outcome data is collected and documented for timely reporting;

  • Communicate regularly with Area M&E and project staff to ensure that they are aware of what is needed, they have adequate M&E resources (attendance lists, training report templates, etc.) and that they are submitted in a timely manner;

  • Assist to provide feedback to project technical and partner staff on methodologies and results of assessmentsnd results of assessments in order to ensure that results of monitoring and evaluations are used to implement programmatic changes accordingly; in
  • Ensure that project monitoring and evaluation tools and Country Office M&E SOPs are properly

    used in the Field Area Offices, as well as by partners when relevant, through capacity-building, and cross and spot checks;

  • Support to develop and implement M&E Matrixes at the area office level. This includes supporting in tools development, data collection, data management, and data analysis according to the CO M&E SOPs
  • Provide technical support to NRC Myanmar all users of GORS (Global Output&Outcome Reporting System) and follow up the area offices' GORS data updating and reporting

Support Area M&E officers to develop M&E tools and to organize the monitoring visits to project locations of Area offices.

  • ent quality and timely programmes ensuring all M&E activities are carried out during the projects’ implementation
