Job Overview/Summary:
The MMU Nurse assists a doctor during medical consultations and gives nurses consultations within work of the IRC
s mobile health clinic`s work.
Major Responsibilities:
• Follow step by step with core humanitarian principles and GEDI politics.
• Assists to a doctor during medical consultations as per scope of services provided at the primary health level in adults and children.
• Records patients data pre and post consultation in the MMU.
• Gives nurses authorized consultations within IRC
s MMU.
• With support of the MMU Senior officer, develop relationships with local authorities and the community to plan visits and maintain productive relationships with local people.
• Contributes to elaboration of schedules, routes for the mobile health clinic.
• Contributes to developing and implementing strategies for improving access, quality standards, effectiveness, and participation based on statistical results, evaluations, surveys, and feedback from attendees.
• Support Doctor in prepares weekly data report template and delivers the same to MMU Sr officer.
• Participates in the information management and data collection for the mobile health clinic.
• Organize line on the location, according to triage rules and based on higher needs of patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Participate in preparation of internal reports, including submission of weekly reports to Sr PHM.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient consultation and prescription in the proper way.
Requirements:
• Qualified Nurse (a Bachelors or Master
s degree in Nursing or Public Health is an asset) with minimum two years of experience working on primary health care programs.
• Knowledge and skills as per scope of services provided at the primary health level in adults and children.
• Knowledge and skills for emergency life support interventions in adult in adults and children, internationally recognized training certificate(s) is an asset.
• Language: Bilingual in Ukrainian and Russian desired, English is an asset.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Good communication, teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in working with displaced persons, refugees, returnees and migrants is an asset.
• Experience in elaboration and implementing into practice of standard operational procedures and protocols.
• Ability to perform jobs effectively and be responsible for making decisions.
• Ability to work within a team structure, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources.
