Duty station: Dnipro

Key working relationships: Position Reports to: Primary Health Manager Position directly manages: N/A Internal collaborations within IRC: Health Managers, Protection Managers, MHPSS manager, CP Managers

Job Overview/Summary: The Medical Doctor provides day to day medical consultations offered within IRC Community Center. She works closely with primary health manager. The Medical Doctor is responsible for medical consultations and health promotion. The Medical Doctor assures delivery of high-quality services comply with all Ministry of Health protocols and guidelines. In addition, the CC Medical Doctor actively participates in developing referral pathways to higher more specialized health facilities or secondary healthcare. Under the direct supervision of the Primary Health Manager, the Medical Doctor will also coordinate with Health Coordinator as necessary.

Major Responsibilities:

Day to day patient consultations Back up the initial diagnostic, treatment of patients Ensure an effective referral system to secondary health care Actively participates in weekly reporting of medical statistics Actively participate in internal coordination mechanisms Support the development of referral pathways to specialized health facilities and secondary health care. Support the development of referral pathways with Protection program. Work closely with the health managers and pharmacy manager to ensure availability of essential medicationsat all time Serves as on-site manager, and handles complex health issues and questions as needed Actively supports/participate in developing and implementing strategies for improving access, quality standards, effectiveness, and participation based on statistical results, evaluations, surveys, and feedback from attendees.

Documentation and Reporting: Support implementation of data collection, M&E and quality control measures for health services within CC. Participate in preparation of internal reports, including submission of weekly reports to Primary health manager. Support project staff to maintain program records and documentation as per project management minimum standards, including maintaining the confidentiality and security patient data Ensure proper documentation of patient consultation and prescription

Requirements: Medical Doctor registered with NHS licensing body of Ukraine. Minimum two years of experience working on primary health care. Language: Bilingual in Ukrainian and Russian required, with good verbal and writing skills in English Experience in team management desired Ability to work within a team structure, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources Experience in working with displaced persons and migrants Experience working with GBV cases (Gender Based Violence) Good command of the use of Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Work, Excel Good communication, teamwork skills and ability to work independently
