As an acquisition area, our goal is to bring in new donors, with a focus on "pledge" donors. To achieve this, we strive to create a seamless and transparent donation experience that cultivates high-quality donors and reduces cancellation rates. We are also dedicated to developing strategies aimed at reaching new audiences and exploring new business opportunities based on behavioral trends, payment methods, and emerging channels. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that each donor feels valued and understands the impact of their contributions, driving long-term engagement and support

As a Marketing Assistant for UNICEF, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for supporting the definition and implementation of effective strategies to increase the donor base, developing, and conducting training for fundraising teams, as well as creating and executing engagement campaigns aimed at maximizing the quality and volume of new donors. They will also perform data and metrics analysis to identify improvements e new opportunities. Working under the direct supervision of the Fundraising Officer, they will ensure that all activities are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Key results 1. Structure and implement acquisition channels such as telemarketing, F2F, SMS, among others, in all types of operations, whether internal, outsourced, or in partnership. 2. Data analysis for performance monitoring, create and present regular reports on acquisition KPIs, customer success metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and achieved results. 3. Additional administrative duties and responsibilities are effectively performed. 4. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new donors, continuously seeking new growth opportunities. Key accountabilities and duties & tasks 1. Structure and implement acquisition channels such as telemarketing, F2F, SMS, among others, in all types of operations, whether internal, outsourced, or in partnership. o Assist in defining objectives, strategies, content, design, components, and schedules for various activities and campaigns. o Analyze the results of different activities/campaigns in relation to their planned goals and strategies. o Monitor the progress of decisions and action plans based on the results of the above items; execute the workflow of activities and maintain the flow of information in the absence of the supervisor. 2. Data analysis for performance monitoring, building reports, database segmentation, strategy development, and improvement proposals. o Act as a liaison between RM&P and Operations to ensure database consistency, providing guidance on criteria for segmentation, insertion, and information management, as well as proper workflow. o Monitor the success rate in processing donations. o Seek opportunities for new campaigns within UNICEF's databases. 3. Additional administrative duties and responsibilities are effectively performed. o Assist in preparing the office/region's PFP budget. Prepare periodic fundraising reports, monitor, and maintain record control. o Develop, organize, and maintain up-to-date data, information, record documents, and control plans for project implementation monitoring; maintain a library of fundraising reference materials. o Ensure project completion within deadlines. 4. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new donors, continuously seeking new growth opportunities. o Conduct benchmarking. o Analyze market data.

Additional experience in sales and/or commercial teams. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to make informed decisions. Advanced knowledge in Excel. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence donors. • Proactivity: Ability to act proactively to solve problems and improve processes. • Project Management: Capability to manage projects, set clear objectives, and engage teams. • Technology: Familiarity with CRM tools and other customer relationship management platforms and Power BI.

The municipality of São Paulo will be the duty station for this UNV opportunity. São Paulo is the most populous city in Brazil, with more than 12,4 million people. It is a place marked by inequalities, mixing rich and poor areas. São Paulo is vibrant city, with numerous cultural institutions and a rich architecture. The UNICEF office in São Paulo is in the neighbourhood of Vila Clementino, next to the AACD metro station, several restaurants and Congonhas airport. It is generally an expensive city to live in São Paulo, but it offers different housing options depending on the region chosen. As this is a national UN Volunteer assignment, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for arranging their own housing and other living essentials. National UN Volunteers are part of the malicious insurance plan. Brazil is security level 3 (moderate). United Nations Department of Safety and Security UNDSS Brazil advises to exercise a high degree of caution in Brazil due to high levels of serious and violent crime, particularly in major cities. Violent crime as muggings, armed robbery, kidnappings, and sexual assault, is very high. Avoid shanty towns (favelas) in the big cities and if you are attacked or robbed, do not resist. Demonstrations can occur at any time and may turn violent with little or no warning. All United Nations personnel must scrupulously comply with UNDSS procedures and recommendations during their assignment in Brazil. For missions in rural areas, indigenous reservations, and favelas special procedures may apply; UN personnel should consult with the local DSS office in advance.
