Overview
Provide hands-on support for day-to-day operations of the Mid-Level Giving program.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent 3 years of experience in direct marketing, philanthropy, or development.
- At least 3 years of experience in fundraising, direct marketing, donor relations, or nonprofit communications, with a strong emphasis on donor support and managing high volumes of donor inquiries.
- Proven project management skills — able to lead complex projects from concept to completion, anticipate obstacles, and implement creative, solutions-oriented approaches.
- Experience working directly with donors or customers in a high-volume or high-touch setting.
- Familiarity with campaign coordination and cross-team project workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and project tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com).
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize across multiple projects.
- Customer service mindset with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a distributed, multicultural, and virtual team environment.
- Digitally literate, tech-savvy, and comfortable learning new tools or systems as needed to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Dedication to the mission and values of the International Rescue Committee.
