NRC Myanmar is now seeking for qualified candidate who will responsibilities for Logistics support functions in the country office level accordingly to the logistics handbook, NRC policies and procedure.

Qualifications

Generic professional competencies:

• Experience working with procurement/logistics

  • Diploma in related field and/ or related practical experience, including any training courses relevant to the position.

• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts desirable but not essential

  • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of English both written and spoken

Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure/ respond to urgent requests.
  • Ability of planning, timing, organizing, as well as problem solving
  • Honesty and transparency in dealing with suppliers.
  • Computer literate with MS Office skills
  • An ability to work discreetly and professionally with sensitive and confidential information, and sometimes under pressure.
  • Good communication in languages spoken in and some Burmese.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that all procurement processes are in compliance with Logistics Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements.
  2. To get quotations from local market for NRC procurement procedure as supervisor assign.
  3. Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods, services and equipment.
  4. Receive supplies and ensure that they are in good condition and accompanied with correct documents.
  5. Provide Procurement and Fleet Management training to field office staff.
  6. Receive PR tracking and Stock report from field offices and consolidate the report.
  7. Distribute/organize transport of material and equipment according to procedures.
  8. To update and submit monthly KPI Report related to procurement, vehicle, generator and contract etc.
  9. Line management of the Drivers
  10. Other tasks assigned by line manager.
