MDF is concerned with community development, and psychological assistance is an important component and function of community development, especially for children and the elderly, and the young people who are working nowadays are also facing difficulties in this area. We hope to learn from the advanced experience of community management in Japan and provide a research proposal for the local community management in PNG, as well as a reference for the construction of psychological assistance in the local community in PNG.

The task is to write a literature review by focusing on the role of psychological assistance based on the development of the Japanese community, from which we hope to gain experience.

This literature review needs to include the following: 1. Japan's successes and failures in community-based psychological assistance; 2. Specific measures and approaches to community-based psychological assistance; 3. What are the plans for implementation in Papua New Guinea, if the advanced Japanese methods are adopted and implemented in Papua New Guinea.

Therefore, we need three online volunteers for the above three tasks.

  1. English writing skills, able to cope with the writing of research proposals;
  2. Japanese ability to read literature;
  3. Preferably with postgraduate study background and knowledge base.
