Manage legal functions and teams effectively
You have:
- A Bachelors degree in law
- At least 4 years’ experience in a legal firm or an access to justice programme
- 3 years minimum experience of managing advocates or Legal Officers
- Good knowledge of international human rights and humanitarian protection standards and principles
- Very familiar with legal concepts, law and practices of the Ugandan legal system
- Experience with capacity building, including training of trainers, adult learning approaches and remote capacity building
- High standards written and spoken English is required
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Work Experience:
- · At least 4 years’ experience in a legal firm or an access to justice programme. - 3 years minimum experience of managing advocates or Legal Officers
Demonstrated Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of international human rights and humanitarian protection standards and principles, especially those related to civil documentation and legal identity, including implications related to gender or displacement. - Very familiar with legal concepts, law and practices of the Ugandan legal system.
Demonstrated Managerial/Leadership Competencies:
- Experience with capacity building, including training of trainers, adult learning approaches and remote capacity building - Experience managing NGO programs is desired.
Languages:
- High standards written and spoken English is required.
Computer/Other Tech Requirements:
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
