As a significant partner of UNV China, the Beijing Volunteer Service Federation (BVF) has just launched the Project of Promoting Sustainable Urban Development through Volunteer Service for the Beijing Winter Olympics, in 2021 with UNDP, UNV, and CICETE.

BVF has selected outstanding young volunteer cases from universities to work in various UN agencies. In order to widely promote the contribution of volunteers and cases, while helping volunteers to better work in UN agencies to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, BVF is looking for online volunteers with professional layout design experience to help edit the volunteer stories and brochures before printing.

BVF is seeking the support of online volunteers skilled in layout design and typesetting. The selected volunteers will be expected to design the layout for editorial content for volunteer stories, cases, and brochures.

The tasks involve: 1)Design and lay-out editorial content for print publications, including volunteer stories and brochures, based on the project requirements. The total amount is about 200 pages; 2)Ensure high quality and consistency in layout elements such as fonts, color matching, formatting, and visual identity across all publications; 3)Improving the format before submission.

The final overall design should ensure aesthetic appeal and readability.

1 year of experience in layout design. Familiarity with digital design software and Microsoft software packages. 1) Outstanding design ability: High proficiency in layout design, typesetting, and color theory.
