You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, BCS, is the basic requirement.
  • Proven experience in personnel Management
  • Excellent English and Dari/Pashto
  • Must have IT Skills.
  • 2 to 3 years’ Experience in working with international NGOs/IT field.
  • Good organizational and reporting skill
  • Ability to work under pressure

Job Description

General Duties

- Troubleshooting and maintenance of Computers daily and focus on analysing problems finding and delivering permanent solutions to problems occurring regularly. - Setting up new users' accounts and profiles, dealing with password issues, testing, and evaluating new technology. - completion of removing viruses from all Computers and managing the online IT ticking system. - Daily troubleshooting end-user hardware and software issues, working continuously on a task until it. - Monthly Computers/Printers/Copiers preventative maintenance and regular checking. - Ensure the smooth functioning of all IT infrastructure such as network connections, besides hardware and software. - Keeps regular contact with Field staff requiring ICT support & help disk. - Filling the ICT item damage report and handing over the repairable ICT items to the workshop. - Monitoring Internet bandwidth, latency, connectivity, and user’s internet usage on Meraki firewall. - Provide training on new implementing technologies and features. - Maintained IT inventory database for IT hardware and software and updated All IT assets in online database and offline management. - Proper documenting of IT assets issues, damage, and lost forms. - Performing installations, computer Operating system, wireless Access points, Routers, Network Printers, MS Office 365, windows10 and Network-attached storage, and repairs. - Attending online weekly meetings with Kabul IT and meetings with field staff. - Troubleshoot Integra and Box problems. - Good troubleshooting skills using logic and common sense. - IT Orientation to new staff.

Specific Duties:

- Raising Tickets for any single issue on service-Now. - Updating online IT equipment asset management database on box based on time. - Updating asset tracker list and assigned users on ServiceNow. - IT filing system & documentation. - Manage and update Port Mapping list. - Manage printer list. - Maintain IT documentation.
