You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology is the basic requirement.

  • Excellent English and Dari/Pashto language skills.

  • 2-3 years’ experience in working with international NGOs/IT field.
  • Good organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Job Description

- Monitoring and maintaining Gardiz field office computers systems and networks. - Monthly Computers/Printers/Copiers preventative maintenance and regularly checking departmental computers by walk-in. to ensure that field office computers are in working order. - Troubleshooting end-user hardware and software issues. - Daily troubleshooting end user hardware and software issues, working continuously on a task until completion removing viruses from all Computers, and managing the online IT ticking system. - Setting up new users' accounts and profiles, dealing with password issues, testing, and evaluating new technology. - Maintain IT inventory database for IT hardware and software and update All IT assets in an online database and offline management. - Manage distribution of newly procured IT assets for on-demand staff. - Performing installations, computer Operating system, wireless Access points, Routers, Network Printers, MS Office 365, windows10 and Network-attached storage, repairs. - Support the procurement department in identifying and selecting hardware required by the field sites. - Troubleshoot BVA, Integra, and Box problems/IT Orientation to new staff. - Proper documenting of IT assets issues, damage, and lost forms. - Monitoring Internet bandwidth, latency, connectivity, and user’s internet usage on the firewall. - Ensure compliance with the IRC IT policy by all computer users. - Maintain IT inventory database for IT hardware and software and update All IT assets and User information in the online ServiceNow database and offline management sheets. - Support the procurement department in identifying and selecting hardware required by the field site. - Deliver different IT-related trainings to the end users/each field staff. - Performing installations, computer Operating system, wireless Access points, Routers, Network Printers, MS Office 365, windows10 and Network-attached storage, repairs. - Up-to-date IT inventory database for IT hardware, software, and ISP contracts, PRs, etc. - Weekly IT activity report to Sr. Roving officer / Sr. IT Coordinator. - Prepare PRs for IT equipment if required. - BVA Management - Assets Management - Sim Card Management - IT Documentation - Any other job relevant duty assigned by direct supervisor
