Job Description Position: Information Technology Intern Report to: Snr. IT officer. Manages: None Duty Station: Hodeida

Scope/job purpose: The IT intern will work in Hod office under the direct supervision of the Snr. Filed manager and Support from the Snr. IT officer. He/she is responsible for the day to day IT follow up and resolve level 1 IT issues. The incumbent will be responsible working closely with the Snr. IT officer to have a reliable IT network connection and assets management.

Detailed responsibilities and tasks: - Provides level 1 troubleshooting, system and hardware maintenance tasks and repairs for computer equipment locally and remotely for sub offices. - Keep an up-to-date inventory report of all ICT equipment in use - Installs, troubleshoots, and updates antivirus software. - Any other IT related tasks assigned by the supervisor and\or Snr. IT officer. - Troubleshoots internet connection and helps to provide a reliable internet connection for the sites through proper liaison with the ISP. - Monitors the office WAN connection. - Monitors network devices operation and performance. - Installs and troubleshoots network peripherals. Promotes efficient and correct use of printer(s) by all staff. - Provides basic technical support to the office CCTV system and assists Humanitarian Access and Supply Chain staff with day-to-day use and maintenance.
