Job Overview: As a key member of the IRC in Denver team, The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator supports efforts and oversees Contributions-In-Kind (CIK) recordkeeping and reporting requirements. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role. Additionally, this position supervises the Inventory Specialist and may supervise interns and volunteers.

Major Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular stock counts. - Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels. - Analyze inventory data to identify trends, reduce waste, and optimize stock levels. - Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies. - Coordinate the daily operations of donation storage areas, including receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing in-kind goods in an organized manner. - Provide accurate and up-to-date digital and physical inventory records for regular reporting purposes. - Observe correct stacking and turnover by implementing industry-standard procedures.

Logistics Coordination

- Plan and schedule the transportation of goods from vendors to warehouses or clients. - Move equipment and goods between facilities as needed to meet business requirements. - Track and trace shipments to monitor delivery status and address any delays or issues that arise. - Maintain records of shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and distribution documentations. - Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.

Warehouse Operations

- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and CIK within the warehouse. - Coordinate with warehouse staff or volunteers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. - Implement inventory control procedures to minimize errors and maintain inventory accuracy. - Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. - Data Analysis and Reporting - Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory levels, logistics performance, and supply chain metrics. - Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, fill rate, and on-time delivery. - Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize inventory management and logistics operations. - Utilize inventory management software and other tools to track inventory and logistics activities.

Job Requirements:

Work Experience: One or more years of relevant work experience in office administration; facilities management, logistics, procurement or related field, preferred.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience in inventory management, logistics coordination, or a similar role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools. - Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education: Bachelor’s preferred.

Language Skills: Fluency in English required.

Working Environment: Standard office working environment. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is a full-time, regular, position scheduled at 37.5 hours per week, classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime under state and federal law. Compensation range is $26.00-$29.00/hour. As a regular, full-time employee, the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator qualifies for the IRC’s phenomenal benefits package, which includes:
