Conduct research and analyze the political landscape in Kuwait

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, economics, business administration or another relevant technical field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
• Proven experience in conducting research and analysis in international affairs, preferably in a governmental agency, think tank, or multinational corporation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of international law, diplomacy, and geopolitical dynamics.
• Familiarity with cultural sensitivities and regional nuances in different parts of the world.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision, be dynamic, proactive, and creative.
• Have affinity with or interest in advocacy for health, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.

Contract

This task will enable WHO Kuwait Country Office to better understand the political landscape in the host country, ensuring that the organization is best positioned to support the host governments priorities.

Develop detailed report that provides an analysis of the political landscape in Kuwait over the past 5 years, highlighting key changes and potential impact of these changes. The report will cover key government priorities in the past and into the future.

The report should be professionally written, with references for all data included. The UNV will need to conduct independent research, and will be invited to meetings where possible to benefit from discussions on the subject.
