IRC (International Rescue Committee) Germany is looking for a:n

Intern – Data Analytics & Insights

In Berlin | as soon as possible

full-time (40h/week) | 3 months

About Us Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. In 2016, IRC Germany was founded and is involved in the areas of education, economic wellbeing, and safety, legal protection, and empowerment throughout Germany.

Your Responsibilities

- Data Analytics & Insights of our institutional donor portfolio - Conduct an analysis of the quality of partnerships monitoring and capacity building - Data Analytics & Insights of our local partnerships portfolio - Analysis & Tracking of investigations, internal audit and external audit findings - Collect and codify data on past award performance to support a borad ranging analysis of spending patterns across donors, sectors and geography - Support the formulation of hypothesis that can be explored as to the casual links between internal processes and spending / implementation challenges - Update analysis of Internal and External audit findings - Support on the internal document collection for ongoing audits

Your Profile

- Strong data analytics skills, with some experience preferred (academic, personal or professional) automating large data sets - You are enrolled at a university during the entire internship period - This is a mandatory internship as part of the study program - You have English language skills at C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CERF) - An understanding of the institutional fundraising landscape including the relationship between institutional donors, International NGOs and local partners - Strong multi-tasker, able to prioritize multiple workstreams in an agile environment.
