Recruitment Profile

Purpose of the position:

The incumbent will support the Automation & Tooling Team, within the On-Premise Services Section (OPO). The Automation and Tooling team is seeking a motivated intern to support the development and enhancement of automation solutions. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in software development, automation, and process optimization.

As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced team members to design, develop, and document automation solutions while learning industry best practices. You will also assist in integrating automation processes with internal and customer-facing systems, gaining exposure to real-world applications. This role is ideal for individuals eager to expand their technical skills and contribute to impactful projects in a supportive learning environment.

Organizational Setting and Reporting:

Interns work 5 days per week (37.5 hours) under the supervision of the Senior Pre-Sales and Solutions Architect and will be provided guidance and support to perform the responsibilities mentioned below.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of software components for the automation platform, assisting in design, coding, testing, and documentation
  • Learn and apply best practices for software development, ensuring code quality and maintainability
  • Contribute to automation solutions, helping to develop and improve processes that enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including automation, support, and technical groups, to implement and review automation solutions
  • Assist in integrating automation-related data and processes with internal and customer-facing software systems
  • Document the work, creating clear and structured documentation to support future development and maintenance

Requirements – Education:

To qualify for this internship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a University programme (final year of a Master’s degree or equivalent) specializing in areas that are relevant to UNICC’s line of business such as Software Development or must have graduated in the last 6 months.

Requirements – Work Experience:

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience to participate in the UNICC’s internship program, but applicants should have the following functional and technical skills:
