Overview
Oversee Integrated Protection strategy and program development in Syria.
You have:
- Degree in Law, Human Rights, Social Science, international relations, psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination education and relevant work experience.
- 10 years of professional experience in humanitarian response, preferably with experience in protection programming.
- At least 5 years in managerial position, including staff management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams, preferably across multiple project sites.
- Experience in at least two or more areas of protection (CP, GBV, Protection) is highly desirable.
- Prior experience leading protection work in recovery and development contexts.
- Previous experience working on integrated and multi-sectoral programs is preferred.
- Experience working in Syria and/or MENA.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategy development, donor relations, multi-stakeholder partnerships, capacity building including technical tools and materials, and proposal development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to travel to field locations within Syria as needed.
