You have:
- At least 1 year's relevant experience at the national or international level in information management, database management, mapping and using of ArcGIS.
- University degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Social Sciences or a relevant field - or equivalent professional qualification.
- Previous experience in using ArcGIS is a key requirement.
- Strong knowledge MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Full professional proficiency in Ukrainian.
- Basic data analysis experience and knowledge.
- Intermediate English level.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Information Management Assistant in Kharkiv.
This position will report to the Information Management Manager.
About the job
Information Management Assistant is responsible for managing and coordinating the Information Management system of DRC programmes, including IM and database support to programme colleagues. Responsible for reporting, archiving, and support to other data collection and data entry needs. Coordinas with DRC field and programme staff to support all information management and monitoring needs
Geographic scope: Country (Ukraine)
This role has a country focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the country. The role contributes to the development of country strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and/or technical guidance to country operations while overseeing country activities.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Maintain documentation: receive reports, register relevant records in logs, ensure proper organization and storage of hard copies in a structured manner, and archive records.
- Review and process spatial data on daily demining progress within the digital Information Management (IM) system and ensure availability of corresponding hard-copy records.
- Prepare and update paper and digital maps in accordance with approved formats and standard templates.
- Provide technical support to Team Leaders on the use of the IM system.
- Perform duties related to electronic records management: uploading, managing, and sharing records via the electronic document management system (MS SharePoint).
- Support programme colleagues in case of technical difficulties or questions related to the database and Information Management (IM) in general; deliver trainings on database usage.
- Support the development (coding) of online tools and forms in Survey123 and Field Maps.
- Conduct weekly data quality checks of the database, reporting any issues and changes to the IM Coordinator.
- Manage tablets: ensure their safekeeping, update them with the correct forms, upload data, and track changes in data collection tools.
- Ensure timely updates of information related to programme activities (team composition, equipment inventory, activity status, etc.).
- Apply data management techniques and procedures.
- In line with DRC’s Information Management SoPs, ensure all data is protected and kept confidential.
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have a****t least 1 year's relevant experience at the national or international level in information management, database management, mapping and using of ArcGIS. Moreover we expect the following:
