The Institute for Capacity Development (ICD) is seeking an Information Management Analyst/Sr. Information Management Analyst (IMA) in the Operations Management (ICDOM) division. The successful candidate will report to the Section Chief for Information Management Systems (IMS) and be responsible for various activities to support the Fund’s delivery of internal and external training. As a member of the technically oriented IMS team, the Information Management Analyst/Sr. Information Management Analyst (IMA) will perform a range of course administration, system support, data analysis and reporting functions. The IMA works closely with colleagues in the division, as well as course assistants and economists in ICD, other CD Departments, and the Regional CD Centers (RCDCs), to ensure the successful delivery of external training to member countries.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide data analytics and reporting on the Fund’s internal and external training programs. Gather data and reporting requirements, develop and test training-related data models and datasets using related source systems and the self-service components in the Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW). Use PowerBI to develop reports and dashboards with metrics and visualization. Help advance data governance practices and serve as a data steward for training-related data.

Manage the digital training catalog on IMF.org by administering and supporting courses and sessions in the Participant and Applicant Tracking System (PATS).

Provide technical support for the delivery of BROC and SROC courses which the IMF co-hosts with the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).

Manage the Moodle platform and work with the vendor, OpenLMS to resolve technical issues and planned system upgrades.

Support the delivery of courses by administering quiz content in Moodle, manage end-of-course surveys in Cvent and arrange software licenses for training participants. Support training instructors (economists) and course assistants by responding to queries and resolve system or data issues, as needed.

Support the division’s adoption of innovative process automation to simplify business processes and achieve efficiencies. Identify use cases and implement process automation using tools such as Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Microsoft Power Automate.

Identify business needs for system improvements and liaise with ITD on system enhancements, testing, deployment and end-user communication and training.

Provide training to users and develop user guidelines, checklists, data standards and policies that support the administration and delivery of external training.

Support the department’s Knowledge Management work program by providing CD data and content as needed.

Minimum qualifications:

Educational development, typically acquired through the completion of a university degree in programming/systems, computer science, statistics, finance, mathematics, economics, or a related field of study, is required. Alternatively, a minimum of two years of experience in a related position at Grade A5, or equivalent, is required.

The successful candidate will have advanced skills in business intelligence, data analysis and reporting. Proficient with business intelligence applications, languages, and tools e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R. Familiarity with a broad range of content management systems e.g., SharePoint, Adobe Experience Manager, with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies to benefit business operations.

Has experience providing business and technical support for IT systems. Analytical with excellent problem-solving, relationship management and communication skills. Strong work management and able to perform both day-to-day operational responsibilities and project assignments. Has the ability to work under pressure, both autonomously and in a team environment.

This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
