The HR Business Partner/Emergencies Team of the Division of Human Resources is supporting concurrent onset and long-term emergencies (including Ethiopia, State of Palestine, Myanmar), and has launched campaigns to invite staff and other Personnel to join Frontlines - a global sourcing platform, to quickly identify staff to be deployed to emergencies.

How can you make a difference?

We are currently looking for an human resources professional with good knowledge of data and analytics, with experience in talent sourcing and recruitment to join our team to contribute to the following:

  • -Data & Information Management: Ensure daily updates, entry, maintenance, and accuracy of data sources related to the HR Emergencies Team (Surge Tracking, Recruitment Table, Frontlines Report, etc.)
  • -Sourcing & Recruitment Support: Provide support on sourcing, shortlisting, advertisements, and other recruitment processes as needed.
  • Knowledge Management: Ensure that the HR Emergencies sites, tools, and other online and digital content is updated, maintained and promoted to clients in the team and across UNICEF

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, and any related areas.
  • Two to three years of relevant professional experience in human resources field is required
  • Be passionate about working for children, and vulnerable communities.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset
  • Knowledge of relevant computer systems and applications; ability to do basic content management on Share Point and knowledge in graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, etc.) is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office is required and advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and databases and data visualization technologies such as Power BI is an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of sourcing, talent acquisition, outreach, recruitment marketing, Boolean search, digital marketing strategies and/or people analytics is an asset.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
