Overview

Establish messaging flows for RapidPro and Inform applications

You have:

  • Experience in ICT and digital communications.
  • Ability to create and manage messaging workflows using RapidPro.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and facilitate teamwork.
  • Understanding of project management and coordination techniques.
  • Capacity to analyze data and provide insights for campaign success.

Contract

This is a UNV National Youth contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Youth contracts.

The focus of the ICT digital Communications UNV is to establish messaging flows for RapidPro and Inform applications.

Under the supervision of the ICT Officer/ICT Manager, liase with all programs to create two-way required messaging flows for sms and Whatsapp.

  • Assist in organizing meetings with the program sections and operations units.

  • Develop paper-based design flows and coordinate their approval with program sections and ops units.

  • Responsible for creating RapidPro workflows.

  • Integration of Rapid Pro with inform.

  • Integration of Rapid pro with all communication channels

  • Assist the section in registration of all channels.

  • Run Campaigns for all programs and Ops units.

  • Provide data to programs and ops for closed campaigns.

  • Any other task relevant to digital strategy of UNICEF Pakistan assigned by the user.

As this is a national UNV assignment, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for arranging his/her own housing and other living essentials.

UNV Field Unit will help you open a Pak rupee bank account with Standard Chartered Bank or any other local bank at your duty station.
