Contract

Role and responsibilities
- In consultation with the ICLA Project Manager; coordinate and co-facilitate capacity building trainings for humanitarian partners and local authorities.
- Manage ICLA team in Musol, oversee monthly and weekly work plans, monitor targets, and report on their activities.
- Coordinate with ICLA coordinator in Mosul where there is an overlap in team members with their technical assistance
- Ensure compliance by the ICLA team with ICLA policies, and implementation of ICLA case management and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools;
- Regularly attend relevant Protection and/or (Non Food Items) NFI/Shelter Cluster meetings to represent ICLA, gather and share information with partners, advocate on behalf of vulnerable displaced persons facing Registration Civil Documentation (RCD) & housing and land property (HLP) challenges, and employment rights (ER) and contribute to the provision of effective and timely humanitarian assistance to displaced persons
- Contribute to the planning of future ICLA activities by providing the ICLA PM with relevant data for donor proposals, budgets, work plans, and procurement plans;
- Foster productive relationships between ICLA and local authorities / humanitarian partners;
- Promote synergies and coordination between ICLA and other departments within NRC, particularly livelihood and education.
- Attend internal meetings within NRC when necessary
- Any other activities as designated by ICLA PM
Competencies
- Experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Professional knowledge of contract management
- A University degree in law, social science, public administration or related subject;
- At least one years of experience in project management, including supervision of staff and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Prior experience of representing an I/NGO, and advocating on behalf of beneficiaries, in public forums (e.g. Protection or Shelter Clusters or Working Groups);
- Significant experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting on project activities;
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Good knowledge of English and Arabic.

- Contract Duration: 6 months ( with the possibility of extension)
- Duty Station: Nineveh - Iraq

- Salary: G6/S1, According to NRC’s Iraq salary scale and terms and conditions.
