El Salvador is a country in Central America. It is bordered on the northeast by Honduras, on the northwest by Guatemala, and on the south by the Pacific Ocean. El Salvador's capital and largest city is San Salvador. The country's population in 2021 is estimated to be 6.8 million and uses US Dollar as its currency. Is a tropical weather country with only two marked seasons, dry and rainy season. El Salvador has had a history of violence post-civil war but has thrived through the years between the resilience of its population and different governmental and non-governmental programs in relation to violence prevention and mitigation. On this regard, safety may be an issue in certain identified areas of the city or rural areas. There are different types of housing structures and depending on it and the housing areas the cost varies, in general is affordable and there´s access to it. Public bus transport is not entirely safe, use of private transport service is recommendable. Easy access to shopping areas included grocery stores is available.
