Coordinate HR projects for continuous improvement and liaise with stakeholders.
You have:
- A first-level university degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Project Management or any other related field is required.
- At least three (3) years of experience in project management, administration or related area.
- Fluent writing, speaking and reading abilities in English.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is desirable.
- Knowledge of any additional official language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is desirable.
Result of Service Under the general guidance of the Deputy Director of Human Resources the Human Resources Projects Coordinator will coordinate the ongoing continuous improvement projects. As part of his/her responsibilities, the projects coordinator will coordinate activities across project teams, liaise with stakeholders, prepare stakeholder briefing documents and prepare project updates against intended timelines and outcomes. Some of the ongoing projects include HR Strategy, On-boarding revamp, the HR Help Desk, and Policy simplification.

Expected duration The selected consultant is expected to be employed for six months, starting as soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities THE ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING
The Bureau of Administration and Services (ADB) plays a lead role in the efficient and effective administrative management of the Organization by ensuring the provision of high-quality physical and human resources, applying the highest standards of work ethics and conduct, and using results-based management skills and tools to support the Organization in implementing its Strategic Objectives in order to serve all stakeholder of the world aviation community. ADB is responsible for the coordination and administration of the following administrative and management services: human resources management (HRM); information management, web management and ICT services; building management and conference services; document and record management; language and publications services; secretariat services for the ICAO Assembly and Council; revenue-generating activities; and travel services.
The incumbent reports directly to the Deputy Director of Human Resources in the Bureau of Administration, ADB.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Function 1 (incl. Expected Results) Supports project leads by - Building detailed and comprehensive project plans - Monitoring project progress and acting as the escalator of risks where such are beyond their capacity - Assisting with schedule management of the different stakeholders for project team sessions - Analyzing risks, consolidate mitigations and opportunities
Function 2 (incl. Expected Results) Serves as the single point of contact for HR section projects, achieving results such as: - Weekly/monthly status reports - Business case documents for stakeholder sessions Function 3 (incl. Expected Results) Provides perspectives into the projects by - Assisting with research into the case and solution build - Supporting the analysis of data and research feeding into the projects
Function 4 (incl. Expected Results) Assist with Talent Outreach activities including - Supporting the overarching Strategy build - Preparing a calendar of outreach activities - Being the liaison to activate the activities
Function 5 Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Essential: A first-level university degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Project Management or any other related field is required.
Desirable: Additional training or certification in business administration, or related field is preferred
Experience: Essential: At least three (3) years of experience in project management, administration or related area.
Desirable: Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Language: Essential: Fluent writing, speaking and reading abilities in English.
Desirable: Knowledge of any additional official language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish).
