- Mid-senior level skills in talent management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations.
- Experience with performance management processes and/or employee well-being initiatives preferred.
- HRIS system experience (a plus) and familiarity with data analysis within HR systems is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with developing and implementing HR projects or initiatives.
Description
Duty Station: San Jose, Costa Rica
Type of employment: Full-time
Duration of contract: 12 months with possible extension
Work model: Hybrid – combines work in the office and remote work

Monthly Gross Salary Range: 1 750 – 1 950 USD , Severance clearance yearly

PIN is one of the key organizations from the Central European region supporting human rights defenders and independent media within our Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (HRD). The HRD’s primary goal is to support independent individuals and groups in repressive and fragile environments who are the target of persecution, harassment, or arrests because of their opinions or activities, and to strengthen civil society in countries that are going through democratic transformation.
Although our Latin American (LATAM) program is located in San Jose, Costa Rica, we all belong to the larger HRD team, united by a shared vision and common goals.
As Human Resources Partner, you support the work of the Centre of HRD’s Latin America program, based in Costa Rica. You also act as a liaison between HQ in Prague and San Jose in all HR activities, collaborating with HR specialists from Prague.
Your duties and responsibilities are:
Recruitment and HR Marketing:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire high-quality candidates.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial outreach to offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience for all applicants.
Build and maintain a strong employer brand through targeted HR marketing across various channels (website, social media, job boards, etc.).
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on employer branding initiatives and HR projects.
Talent Management & Development, Compensation & Benefits:
Drive performance management and talent development.
Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Employee Relations, HRIS, and General HR Business Partnering:
Partner with managers to address employee relations and well-being concerns.
Lead the implementation and utilization of HRIS systems.
Collaborate with HR specialists at HQ on all of the above-mentioned activities.

Requirements
You should possess:
Recruitment experience (strategy, full-cycle recruiting, employer branding), including experience with diverse sourcing methods and candidate relationship management.
Mid-senior level skills in talent management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations; experience with performance management processes and/or employee well-being initiatives preferred.
HRIS system experience (a plus); familiarity with data analysis within HR systems is beneficial.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with developing and implementing HR projects or initiatives.
